animu expo 2008: the last batch batches out

King Of Figthers; Iori.

This is our friend's booth that I mentioned before.

The booth next to us, friendly girls all around!
I had a nice chat with the girl on the right, (I forgot her name) and she was showing me these hand drawned shoes, they looked really nice with such nice colors (yeah, talking to a girl about shoes, what kind of dude am i? :[) and talking about other things. Cool people!

A old college friend had a booth as well! What a pleasant surprise when I had the opportunity to have a little chat with him! I'm glad he's doing what he loves.

I had a chat with a lot of artist, but this booth stood up for me, since the artists were incredibly friendly and it's always nice to talk to friendly artists! You can check them out also at their deviantart accounts.

And here we have Mecha Fetus Booth! I got a chance to meet the man behind King of Power 4 Billion%, and Pirate Baby's Cabana Battle Street Fight 2006. Paul Robertson is pretty good at making sprites, the only thing that bothered me was how uncomfortable he was acting when I was talking about his work. I got a little poster signed by him, but when I rolled it up it bended a little. Also, what's up with Atlus? You guys really love your Persona.

And here we have one of our friends with a character named Hard Gay, there are some videos on youtube you can check out if you're not familiar with him, it's pretty funny.

And finally this is the last picture before we left out of the convention. This graffiti is bad ass, so I wanted to show it to you readers! Look how colorful that is, also nottice the tiny sattellite on top of those guns!

This is all the stuff I got from the convention, describing from top left to right:
A brand new silver GameCube controller since the ones I have are completely wack out of sync.
A simple comic with no simple storyline, from Ramiro. It's twisted, you can check them out also on their website.
A FLCL red shirt, with a cat on it.
A small figurine of something that resembles a robot duck.
The official Serial Experiments Lain artbook.
A small pin from the fellas at the Ramiro booth.
Some stickers from Boshi-Basiik. (They make hats)
Neo Geo Battle Coliseum for PS2 (Turns out this game was garbage)
And a poster from all the sprites from King of Power 4 Billion% with the artist's signature.

Also not pictured, A Katamari Damacy Yellow T-Shirt, that's actually the best thing I got! And that was it! Thanks for reading! Now we return to our regularly scheduled blog.
