Hello again!

Sup guys and gals! I'm still around! Yup yup!
I've been doing thangs, you know how that goes, the focus as of late has been the main site which is http://home.cakearmy.org
it is also a blog of sorts so I would encourage you to check it out and give out your feedback!

I'm not ditching this blog service so just an fyi. I'll update it again when something neat happens or when I feel like it. whichever happens first.

HARDCORE GAMER. There. I said it.

No, this isn't about some Madden player, or a Halo Tournament Champion, or even less about a Smash Bros. Tournament. And, I'm not talking about myself either.

A determined young kid who not only gutted and made a mod out of the ps3 controller to be use in a different, original way that only he is able to use. It is remarkable and it is something that should definetly be admired. Did I mention this kid is handicaped?

I never had anything against Islam...

UNTIL NOW
WHY DO YOU GET SO BUTT HURT BECAUSE OF A COMPANY DECIDES TO PROMOTE YOUR CULTURE, BELIEVES, ETHINICITY, TRADITIONS? Maybe you could say, oh but they're making profit out of our beliefs, I suppose that's a valid statement, but have you even heard of the song? And honestly,
Toumani Diabate(the man behind this song named Tapha Niang) even said
It's quite normal to play music and be inspired by the words of the Prophet Mohammed. It's my way to attract and inspire people towards Islam.
what does that say about your close minded ways? I'm not going to say you guys (ISLAMIC PEOPLE. YES IN GENERALIZING) are stupid, but man, you sure love fucking up the world as this isn't the first time you get butthurt for some trivial shit. I hope everyone gets the real copy of this game except you, you chuntaros. Read: Kutukuu

animu expo 2008: the last batch batches out

King Of Figthers; Iori.

This is our friend's booth that I mentioned before.

The booth next to us, friendly girls all around!
I had a nice chat with the girl on the right, (I forgot her name) and she was showing me these hand drawned shoes, they looked really nice with such nice colors (yeah, talking to a girl about shoes, what kind of dude am i? :[) and talking about other things. Cool people!

A old college friend had a booth as well! What a pleasant surprise when I had the opportunity to have a little chat with him! I'm glad he's doing what he loves.

I had a chat with a lot of artist, but this booth stood up for me, since the artists were incredibly friendly and it's always nice to talk to friendly artists! You can check them out also at their deviantart accounts.

And here we have Mecha Fetus Booth! I got a chance to meet the man behind King of Power 4 Billion%, and Pirate Baby's Cabana Battle Street Fight 2006. Paul Robertson is pretty good at making sprites, the only thing that bothered me was how uncomfortable he was acting when I was talking about his work. I got a little poster signed by him, but when I rolled it up it bended a little. Also, what's up with Atlus? You guys really love your Persona.

And here we have one of our friends with a character named Hard Gay, there are some videos on youtube you can check out if you're not familiar with him, it's pretty funny.

And finally this is the last picture before we left out of the convention. This graffiti is bad ass, so I wanted to show it to you readers! Look how colorful that is, also nottice the tiny sattellite on top of those guns!

This is all the stuff I got from the convention, describing from top left to right:
A brand new silver GameCube controller since the ones I have are completely wack out of sync.
A simple comic with no simple storyline, from Ramiro. It's twisted, you can check them out also on their website.
A FLCL red shirt, with a cat on it.
A small figurine of something that resembles a robot duck.
The official Serial Experiments Lain artbook.
A small pin from the fellas at the Ramiro booth.
Some stickers from Boshi-Basiik. (They make hats)
Neo Geo Battle Coliseum for PS2 (Turns out this game was garbage)
And a poster from all the sprites from King of Power 4 Billion% with the artist's signature.

Also not pictured, A Katamari Damacy Yellow T-Shirt, that's actually the best thing I got! And that was it! Thanks for reading! Now we return to our regularly scheduled blog.

Animu Edition 2008: Bigger Batch Edition

Chun-Li kicking it.

Hells yeah! TATATATATATATATA!!!

I like the simultaneous pose. I like how the girl on red (that gym leader, i completely forgot her name) is serious. Way to stay in character!

Kitty ears on a skull. Self explanatory.

Ths one made me laugh for some reason, I'm still trying to figure that out.

I met some buddies at the Expo, so after a while, we went to eat at some restaurant, this is Bis Boss looking at the guide, wasting no time for battle plans.

A friend of mine, posing for the picture. (check out those ladies in the back checking us out! wooahhh!)

I think you readers finally get to see me! I'm in a Gurren Laggan sandwich, pretty good series, you should check it out!

Shaoran, Sakura and Tomoyo. I used to watch Sakura Card Captors way back when I was little, I'm surpriced I still remember.

Another friend getting on a Gurren Laggan sandwich.

This was a incredibly detailed Transformer, it even had lights in the middle!

Didn't I take a picture of her already? Doesn't matter!

Arthur and his girl, chillaxing and relaxing after a hard day of walking around.

I don't know who this guy is, I think it's from Avatar or something because of that arrow.

Here we have a pokemon trailer. Just kidding! I don't know who this guy is, I took a picture just because.

Sakura and Ryu! I can play a mean Sakura by the way!

Mmmmfffmmf! Mfffmm! mffm mffmmm!

This is the best picture from the event, it's white and green. It's a guy in camouflage with plants, still pretty great!

O HO HO HO HO HO HO!!!!!!!

I don't know who this one is either but it look pretty extravagant with a large amount of time invested in this custom. Shooting blanks it would have to be Xenogears or something.

Caughting off guard at the arcade, Tetris! and all it's wonderful counterparts!

You gotta admit, this one is pretty creative! Zombie Aeris fyi.

Me and Harumi being all YATTA about it.

A friend's girlfriend and her cousin. They had a art booth too! (Check out their site!)

L being L.

Pikachu...

Death Note gang.

She was rather very playful, and the poses she made! incredible flexible. Just like Ed.

And that's it for now. There's only a few more pictures left so enjoy it.

Animu Expo 2008: Big Batch Edition

Here's "L" the best shape, there's been plenty of times before in the past when this little guy (we are labeling shapes now?) helps out in tight spots. THANKS L!

Hey Olimar! Did I caught you off guard?

FLCL and THE KING. WHO WOULD WIN?

It took me a while to recognize these dudes, but right after that I had to take a picture. Gene Starwind and uhh... that girl. Yeah! I'm sad Outlaw Star didn't became all that popular. I wonder. (I also wonder) OH WELL.

I remember this part in the series!

H-Hey! That never happened!! Wait a second..!

I like to take pictures of Misty. This one is a little bit punk but that's fine.

Mario and Luigi using Public Transportation. I'm sorry Luigi, but there is no YATTA in buses.

Byeeee!!!

I have a friend. An internet friend who into anime so much, he got something similar to this. Because of that, every time I see a body pillow I think of him. (SP IF YOURE READING THIS, I TOOK THIS PICTURE FOR YOU! IS THIS A GOOD DEAL? OR IS THIS A RIPOFF?
